My mother tells me that checking her email is like another chore she has to do. I think she needs few more blog subscriptions. I wanted to think hard about which blogs bring a little bit of fun into my email. So, here is my real post for the Sunshine award. Thanks again to Ahimsamaven for nominating me. http://ahimsamaven.wordpress.com Her comment was a generous compliment: olyeats I dig how honest the author of this blog is. Reading her blog is like wandering into a patisserie of words and life experience. Plus there’s a recipe tucked into each post. Om Nom Life.
The rules of this award are as follows:
• Include the award’s logo in a post or on your blog.
• Answer 10 questions about yourself.
• Nominate 10 other fabulous bloggers.
• Link your nominees to this post and comment on their blogs, letting them know they have been nominated.
• Share the love and link the person who nominated you.
And the nominees are…..
Terrified Tastebud – I think Deb and I were separated at birth. She definitely got more of the cooking gene. Her cooking school documentary is lovely. http//:debbrunson.com
A Non-Writing Writer Courting Insanity – I look forward every morning to an inspired snippet of writing. I dream of being such a wordsmith. http://courtingmadness.wordpress.com
RoxyVespa – Who wouldn’t love a girl who kicks around Israel on her Vespa? I enjoy her kitsch-cool pictures and charming stories about her travels. http://roxyvespa.wordpress.com
Manipal’s Photo Blog – Eye-candy and sweetness. Where can I get a man as delightful as this blog? http://manipalphotoblog.wordpress.com
K. O Rasoi – I love Indian food. Enough said. http://www.korasoi.com
Project 365 by Kenneth Todd – A simple idea. A picture every day. I still have to buy the train pics for my son’s room. http://gaia365.wordpress.com
A Detailed House – Yes, if I have one semi-secret indulgence, it is to oggle pictures of pretty houses. Not that mine is ever really clean enough to look like these, or that I really care on a daily basis, but I am a fan of good design. http://adetailedhouse.com
Domestic Diva, MD – Her short, funny stories remind me of my aunt. http://domesticdivamd.com
Another Kitchen Blog – Simple, Italian and delicious. http://anotherkitchenblog.wordpress.com
Suehealy – I enjoy and try to apply her writing tips when ever I can. She gives some indispensable tools for crafting a story. I often forward them to JJ – seems he hasn’t quite figured out the value of practice yet. http://suehealy.org

I liked it so much I memorized some parts of it, along with Goethe, Rilke, Heine (All in German – thank you Herr Ward) and the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (Thank you anonymous corner book store).
Once upon a time and a very good time it was there was a moocow coming
